Role Summary:

The IT/OT Security Engineer will be responsible for deploying an industrial demilitarized zone (iDMZ) for our server-based product and updating various security-based documents. The candidate should have a strong focus on networking and be familiar with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Switches.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage the iDMZ to ensure secure and reliable connectivity between IT and OT networks.
2. Update and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and system configurations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security measures with organizational goals.
4. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Provide technical support and guidance on network and security-related issues to IT and OT teams.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in networking, with a focus on deploying and managing firewalls and switches.
3. Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Switches.
4. Strong understanding of IT/OT convergence and the unique security challenges it presents.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or PCNSE.
2. Experience in industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
3. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity.
