About the Role

The team is seeking a highly qualified mid-level associate to join its growing Environment, Natural Resources, and Land Use Practice in Phoenix. The role provides the opportunity to handle matters in environmental, land use/zoning, and/or natural resources law while expanding litigation and regulatory expertise alongside leading practitioners in the field.

What You’ll Do

• Represent clients in environmental and land use litigation, including zoning and permitting disputes.
• Advise clients on federal and state regulatory compliance matters.
• Support transactional teams on projects involving environmental due diligence.
• Collaborate with partners and clients on strategic approaches to complex natural resource issues.
• Contribute to case management, motion practice, and client communications.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active Arizona Bar membership required.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in environmental, land use, or natural resources law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Compensation

Base pay range: $215,000.00/yr - $335,000.00/yr

Expected Pay Range: $215,000 – $335,000 (commensurate with experience).
