Position: Child Watch Team Lead Location: Burn Boot Camp Burlington Hours: 15-25 hours per week Shift Times:

Monday-Friday: 8:00AM - 11:00 AM/3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 7:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Job Overview: Burn Boot Camp is a vibrant fitness community dedicated to empowering both women and men to become stronger, healthier, and more confident together. Our mission is to change lives through fitness and community. We specialize in high-energy Group Fitness Camps and provide a safe and engaging Child Watch area for parents while they work out.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

Serve as the direct report and main point of contact for all Child Watch team members.

Lead weekly development meetings to support team growth, address concerns, and align on standards.

Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new Child Watch staff.

Manage team performance including giving feedback, conducting evaluations, and making termination decisions when necessary.

Scheduling & Operations

Create and manage the Child Watch schedule to ensure full coverage during all camp hours.

Coordinate and approve time-off requests while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.

Communicate schedule changes and updates to the team in a timely and professional manner.

Environment & Member Experience

Ensure the Child Watch area is clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

Maintain a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for all children in accordance with Burn Boot Camp’s standards.

Build positive relationships with parents, children, and team members to foster trust and satisfaction.

Compliance & Safety

Monitor adherence to safety procedures and policies for all children and staff.

Train team members on emergency procedures, cleaning protocols, and child behavior management.

Document incidents and communicate with parents and leadership as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience working with children in a childcare, teaching, or babysitting role.

A friendly, patient, and responsible demeanor.

Ability to handle multiple children and maintain a positive, energetic environment.

CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required).

A passion for working with children and helping families.
