🚀 Human Resources Director

Overview

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR Director with experience in Mortgage/Financial Services to lead and manage our Human Resources department. The HR Director will oversee all HR functions, ensure compliance with HR policies and multi-state legal requirements, recruit talent, and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
• Ensure multi-state compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Maintain HR records and reports, and utilize HR metrics to inform decision-making.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and ensure employee engagement.
• Collaborate with department managers to understand their HR needs and provide support.
• Manage HR team members and provide leadership and guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience, especially in the Mortgage/ Financial Services/ Fintech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law in multi-state and HR best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with handling overseas operations is a big plus.
