Account Executive | Employee Benefits (Hybrid) and Strategic Talent Acquisition Leader

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join our teams in the Employee Benefits Division and in strategic talent acquisition. The Account Executive will manage a book of business, foster strong client relationships, and deliver exceptional service to mid- to large-market clients. The role will act as the primary client contact to ensure benefits programs are effectively managed and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Talent Acquisition/Strategic Leader will drive high-performance teams and support business growth through strategic talent acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for a portfolio of mid- to large-market clients; build and maintain long-term relationships; address client concerns and provide timely resolutions.
  • Open Enrollment and Renewal Meetings: Plan and conduct open enrollment meetings; lead renewal meetings; deliver engaging presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Strategic Consulting: Analyze client needs; provide recommendations for employee benefits plans; collaborate with internal teams to design customized solutions; stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Account Management: Oversee day-to-day management of client accounts; coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams; monitor plan performance and provide updates and reporting.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure regulatory compliance; maintain accurate records of client interactions and plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing mid to large-market client accounts.
  • Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License for Minnesota.
  • Experience managing fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded groups.
  • Open Enrollment and renewal experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Life and Health License, CEBS) are a plus.
  • Proficient in EPIC and Employee Navigator.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Up to 6 years of experience managing multiple clients of increasing complexity in the insurance industry.
  • Current licenses and certifications relevant to the field.
  • Technical knowledge of contract provisions, renewal, and claims processing; plan knowledge and carrier funding.
  • Experience managing clients with alternative funding arrangements.
  • Proficient use of applicable technology; knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Strong prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed based on client and business requirements.
