Salary Range
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may fall outside the posted range. $80,000 ~ $100,000
Work Location
Our first consideration will be Hybrid, to have this new employee live in the state of Wisconsin to take advantage of Hybrid work and collaboration. Employees living within 45 miles of WPS Headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) will be expected to be able to work Hybrid 2 days a week on a regular basis. Secondary priority will be given to remote candidates in WI, IL, MN or IA. If not regionally local to Madison, WI, frequent monthly travel to our WPS Headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) will be expected.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalate degree or work experience.
- 5 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist in a multi-state environment.
- Working knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR policies.
- Solid knowledge of workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and employee relations best practices.
- Ability to build relationships and influence managers through sound judgment and HR expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 or more years of experience working in Human Recourses in a large enterprise level environment.
- Certification as a Professional of Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or Certified Performance Technologist (CPT).
- Exposure to Unions/Bargaining Units.
