Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Incident Response Engineer located in Omaha, NE. The Senior Incident Response Engineer will be responsible for leading and managing incident response activities, including the identification, analysis, and remediation of security incidents. Daily tasks include monitoring security alerts, conducting forensic investigations, developing and implementing incident response plans, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the organization’s security posture. Additionally, the role involves staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continuously improve the incident response process.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response, forensic analysis, and threat detection
• Knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
