Overview

Litigation Associate - Richmond, VA: Gentry Locke Attorneys is seeking a litigation associate to join the Commercial Litigation Practice Group in our Richmond office. The associate should have a desire to participate actively in litigation and trials and have the confidence to interact with clients. The successful candidate will be expected to think creatively and spontaneously and have the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team. The associate will handle various litigation matters in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

Responsibilities

The associate will handle various litigation matters within the Commercial Litigation Practice Group and participate actively in litigation and trials, including client interactions. The role supports the firm’s commercial litigation practice and requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Virginia; if not currently a member of the Virginia Bar, the selected candidate must become a member promptly.
• 4-8 years of litigation experience in private practice.
• Ability to travel extensively locally and statewide to attend to clients’ needs on legal matters.
