Join TriNet as a Sales Consultant to help small to midsize businesses with HR solutions.

Job Summary

Prospect and sell TriNet’s comprehensive HR, payroll, and benefits services to companies with 5-99 employees in your designated territory. Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities, execute the sales process, and achieve quota.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual plan and target market strategy in your territory.
  • Consistently prospect and qualify prospects through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and partner referrals.
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship and consultatively sell TriNet’s value proposition to decision makers.
  • Manage a multi‑step sales process from qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closing; balance multiple opportunities in parallel.
  • Utilize sales systems (Salesforce, Zoominfo, etc.) to efficiently manage daily activities.
  • Achieve quota by meeting activity metrics and closing opportunities.
  • Complete administrative tasks, maintain records, and demonstrate TriNet’s core values.

Qualifications

  • Typically 3+ years of B2B complex sales experience.
  • Peer‑to‑peer and partner‑based relationship building preferred.
  • Experience with technology platforms such as Salesforce is required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel to client sites as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree desired; equivalent education or experience acceptable.

Travel

Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Work Environment

Remote or office, requires reliable internet service; reasonable accommodations provided.

Compensation

Base salary: $75,000 – $92,500 per year. Commissions and incentives per TriNet’s sales plan.
