Safety Director

We have a client in Louisville KY that has an immediate need for a Safety Director that will be responsible for safe, timely daily safety programs and training.

Responsibilities include :

• 10 plus years of leadership in safety in construction or industrial setting
• OSHA 500 Certified Trainer
• Execute periodic OSHA training for group new hire candidates and existing crew refresher courses
• Maintain third party safety training compliance sites (ISNet, Avetta, Gatefeed, TappiSafe, etc.)
• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory compliance data reporting
• Audit team activities to ensure OSHA & MSHA performance training compliance
• Research, implement and communicate the most current alerts and guidance from OSHA & MSHA
• Manage and control costs of safety program
• Fulfill First Aid and Introductory Rigging training requirements for team
• Identify and maintain inventory of required safety training materials
• Be willing to travel up to 30% of the time
