🚀 IBM Curam Developer - Consultant

RICEFW Technologies Inc is seeking a Software Developer to serve as an on-site technical resource for a large Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) project. The role requires extensive development experience with IBM C ram framework, Curam, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies (AWS). The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, senior technical leads, quality managers, system integrators, and vendors to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and document detailed technical design documents based on business and functional requirements.
• Develop software components/APIs following the project’s coding standards and design documents.
• Conduct data mapping and gap analysis to determine if the software meets business needs.
• Assist technical leads/architects with analysis of technical issues, implement proof of concepts, and write SQL queries to support decision making.
• Use knowledge of C ram framework to develop new functionalities, resolve defects, and meet business requirements.
• Serve as a technical resource, providing technical/analytical guidance to project teams and vendors; advise on best practices.
• Identify, review, and advise on approaches to meet business requirements using C ram software; communicate risks and concerns related to proposed solutions and offer alternative solutions.
• Collaborate with project leadership, business analysts, subject matter experts, technical managers, and development leads on business requirements, functional and non-functional specifications, technical design specifications, and integration component requirements.
• Work with the Quality Product Manager and vendors to ensure all deliverables are completed timely and meet quality standards.
• Report on project status and strategies orally and in writing; communicate any known issues or risks to leadership in a timely manner.
• Interpret, translate, and communicate highly technical concepts to both business and technical team members and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience with IBM C ram framework, including experience in C ram HCR and CGIS.
• Experience with C ram OOTB modules Workflow, Tasks, CER rules, Evidence framework (static and dynamic), IEG, Web services, Java/J2EE.
• Writing complex SQL statements.
• Certifications: C ram Certification.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare insurance principles and processes.
• Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience.
• Experience with Python, NodeJS, ReactJS/Angular, or JSON.
• Experience on AWS.
• Experience profiling and troubleshooting IBM C ram Out of the Box and custom code.
• Experience delivering in Waterfall, Scrum, Agile, and other methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
