Job Summary

The Corporate Advancement Officer manages a portfolio of corporate partners to grow revenue and impact through sponsorships, program investments, and workplace giving. This role plans and executes campaigns, stewards partners, develops proposals, and coordinates volunteer engagement in alignment with Trident United Way’s mission and goals. The officer collaborates closely with Advancement, Communications, and Community Impact to deliver an excellent partner experience and clear ROI.

Essential Functions

Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate accounts; cultivate, solicit, and steward annual sponsorships and programmatic investments.
  • Prepare tailored proposals and renewal packages that align partner objectives with TUW outcomes.
  • Track deliverables and recognition; ensure sponsor benefits are fulfilled on time and documented.

Workplace Giving Campaigns

  • Plan and execute workplace giving campaigns; support Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECCs) with materials, presentations, and timelines.
  • Increase participation and leadership giving through targeted messaging and engagement tactics.
  • Coordinate presentations, onsite activities, and pledge processing in partnership with Development.
  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities (e.g., Days of Caring, Engage+) that match partner interests and capacity in collaboration with VP of Corporate Advancement and Director of Volunteer Engagement.
  • Support logistics and day-of execution; gather photos, stories, and feedback to inform stewardship.

Metrics, Reporting & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate account plans, contact reports, and revenue projections in the CRM (ANDAR preferred).
  • Monitor campaign and sponsorship performance; prepare concise updates for the VP of Corporate Advancement.
  • Contribute content for personalized corporate impact reports (outcomes, visibility, engagement).
  • Work with Communications to ensure brand-aligned materials and timely recognition.
  • Partner with Community Impact to translate program outcomes into clear corporate value propositions.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Represent Trident United Way at partner meetings and community events.
  • Assist with Advancement events, briefings, and stewardship touchpoints.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Corporate Advancement.
  • Work outside normal office hours when required to include evenings or weekends and additional hours during peak times.
  • Complete Andar and external training as appropriate when offered.

Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2+ years in fundraising, corporate relations, sales, or account management (nonprofit experience a plus).
  • Demonstrated success cultivating relationships and meeting revenue or sales goals.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Data-savvy with a results-driven mindset; experience with CRM systems (ANDAR preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfort facilitating meetings and speaking to groups (in person and virtual).

Physical Demands of Job

  • Regular use of standard office equipment.
  • Local travel for partner meetings and events.

Hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence and local travel required. Fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on community impact and partner service.
