GardaWorld Security Services US, a part of GardaWorld, a leading privately owned security company, is hiring a Litigation and Compliance Attorney.

Job Description

We will provide advice to the Assistant General Counsel for Employment Litigation (“AGC”) and the business team on various statutes and codes, manage litigation in state and federal forums, and defend Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and state agency charges. The Litigation Counsel may also provide broader legal advice to company management.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead operational compliance quality assurance with quality assurance team leadership.
• Review EEOC and state agency charges and conferring with AGC for defense strategy.
• Intake filed litigation and conferring with AGC and General Counsel for defense strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• J.D. from a qualified U.S. law school
• California Bar membership a plus
• Two to five years of experience as a law firm litigator
• Expertise in state and federal litigation
• Wage-hour litigation experience preferred
