Litigation Attorney (Compliance, Labor, and Employment)

GardaWorld Security Services US, a part of GardaWorld, a leading privately owned security company, is hiring a Litigation and Compliance Attorney.

Job Description

We will provide advice to the Assistant General Counsel for Employment Litigation (β€œAGC”) and the business team on various statutes and codes, manage litigation in state and federal forums, and defend Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (β€œEEOC”) and state agency charges. The Litigation Counsel may also provide broader legal advice to company management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead operational compliance quality assurance with quality assurance team leadership.
  • Review EEOC and state agency charges and conferring with AGC for defense strategy.
  • Intake filed litigation and conferring with AGC and General Counsel for defense strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • J.D. from a qualified U.S. law school
  • California Bar membership a plus
  • Two to five years of experience as a law firm litigator
  • Expertise in state and federal litigation
  • Wage-hour litigation experience preferred
