Job Overview

Security Architect – Consultant (Hybrid) at RICEFW Technologies Inc.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities

  • Identity and access management ensuring proper implementation and configuration of identity management, single sign‑on, multi‑factor authentication, Active Directory, and applications to support IT and security operations.
  • Develop and implement automation for disparate security and enterprise IT tools.
  • Plan, design, develop, and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with business goals and risk tolerance.
  • Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures against known security threats and develop preventative mitigation strategies for emerging threats to enterprise data, networks, and services.
  • Ensure, validate, and consistently measure the application of protective measures across enterprise business applications and infrastructure support environments; take action to protect state data and technology services.

Required Skills (Ranked)

  • 5 years of experience and expert understanding of identity and access control, logging, and reporting systems.
  • 5 years of experience and expertise in automation development using Python and Bash.
  • Cybersecurity awareness and understanding.
  • 5 years of experience with Linux, Windows, network security protocols, and procedures.
  • 5 years of experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments.

Preferred Skills (Ranked)

  • SIEM analysis and reporting.
  • Security frameworks: NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, CMS MARS‑E.
  • Application security (AppSec).

Education & Certifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Information Security related field and eight years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Preferred: CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalent advanced security certification.
  • Additional relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, GPen) and vendor certifications in SIEM or logging technologies.
