Overview
Director, Business Consulting (SIRO Strategy Activation). This role leads the transformation of the Special Investigations & Recovery Operations (SIRO) function, activating enterprise strategy, building capabilities, and leading with influence and agility. The role blends high-level strategic thinking with hands-on execution to improve fraud mitigation, recovery capabilities, and the operating model to support Next Level Performance. Location considerations: ideally Columbus, OH with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 days WFH); remote opportunities may be considered for qualified applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Activation & Capability Roadmap: Translate enterprise strategy into actionable plans through developing and managing the SIRO capability roadmap; activate strategic priorities by aligning capability builds with business needs and outcomes (e.g., data analytics, operating model, staffing).
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of initiatives; develop proposals and business cases to support investments; track and report benefits realization and ROI.
- Transformation & Change Leadership: Drive large-scale transformation with strong change management; navigate ambiguity and adapt strategies to achieve results.
- Agile Delivery & Program Management: Apply Agile methodologies to accelerate delivery; oversee project and program activities ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Build buy-in across peers, associates, and senior stakeholders; serve as a trusted advisor within the SIRO domain.
- People Leadership: Coach cross-functional teams, build a high-performance culture, and develop talent over time.
- Communication & Presentation: Demonstrate strong PowerPoint skills; articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project/program management, strategic planning, and capability development.
- Record of leading transformational initiatives and managing change at scale; ability to work through ambiguity and develop actionable strategies.
- Experience in benefits tracking and ROI analysis; skilled in Agile delivery and cross-functional leadership.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Background in data analytics or related capability build is a strong plus; people leadership experience is a plus.
- Experience in creating business cases and proposals for senior leaders; ability to lead a proof-of-concept team and scale learnings.
