Overview
Will be responsible for offering high-quality and timely support to partner with the business, managers, and employees to hold up the employee life cycle.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Promote and enable the self-service delivery model.
- Facilitate insights and data intelligence for critical decision making.
- Own HR data and ensure process execution under operational metrics (adhering to standard operating procedures and service level agreements).
- Perform and support HR Core services in and out of HR systems (HR help desk, HR portal, time and attendance, and other ad hoc projects for employees and managers).
- Maintain a highly collaborative relationship with other departments.
- Maintain and record key information for tracking and historical purposes.
- Drive continuous improvement and motivate employee engagement.
- Provide ongoing feedback on performance through formal and informal evaluations.
- Initiate and participate in process development and cost-improvement projects.
- Coordinate people resource requirements for the department.
- Assist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.
- Report and alert resources concerning downtime; interface with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment problems.
- Track time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work and communicate with the opposite shift to ensure communication flow.
- Update department communication boards and follow quality indicators (stop and alert if indicators are below target).
- Act as primary contact for responses to situations where scrap is occurring in any process step.
- Serve as liaison between managers, directs, core and contract associates on issues including policies, practices, and procedures related to organization and site operations.
- Assist in implementing group-wide HR policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives and process improvement.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or its equivalent in a Human Resource-related field; Bachelorβs degree or equivalent in education and experience in a Human Resource-related function.
- Lifting, bending, and repeatedly lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to protect and maintain data privacy.
- Proven experience and advanced skills in HR functions, particularly in a face-to-face support role within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of Spanish; experience working effectively in multicultural or bilingual environments and collaborating with Spanish-speaking team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
