Sales Consultant – Marine Industry | Portland, OR

Are you ready to build a high-income sales career with multiple earning opportunities in a fast-growing industry? We’re a long-established Portland-based dealership with over established market share, and we need a team member to keep up with strong demand.

We’re looking for an energetic, motivated Sales Consultant who’s ready to take charge of their income in a casual but competitive environment . If you're driven, personable, and ready to create a “business within a business ,” we want to hear from you!

This is a commission-based position , giving you full control over your earning potential. Top performers are rewarded with great income, excellent support, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships before and after the sale
• Learn and master our full product line , including features and accessories
• Sell boats in our showroom, at off-site events, and conduct on-the-water demos
• Follow a proven sales process: prospect, present, follow up, close
• Maintain a detailed customer list/CRM for follow-ups and future sales
• Accurately quote pricing including taxes, trade-ins, licensing, and financing
• Oversee unit delivery and ensure a smooth customer experience
• Introduce buyers to the service team to build loyalty and repeat business
• Attend boat shows and promotional events to grow customer base
• Other duties as assigned

Performance Goals

• Meet or exceed annual sales, unit, and profit targets
• Deliver accurate paperwork and timely follow-through
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
• Consistently prospect new leads and follow up on past contacts
