ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Assists in the preparation, serving and clean-up for a variety of foods.
- Prepares, sets-up and serves food for serving lines.
- Performs cashiering duties
- Operates and cleans kitchen equipment.
- Performs clean-up duties, including sweeping, mopping, pot and dish washing.
- Complies with Physical Demands of the position.
- Complies with all Environmental Health Regulations and FANS Policies.
- Complies with state-approved Code of Ethics of the Education Profession, upholds, and enforces rules, administrative directives and regulations, school board policies, and local, state and federal regulations.
- Articulates and facilitates the implementation of the mission and values of the Albuquerque Public Schools.
- Safeguards confidentiality of privileged information.
- Prepares and maintains accurate and complete records and reports as required by law, state directives, District policy and administrative regulations.

- Performs other tasks related to area of responsibilities as requested or assigned by an immediate supervisor.

- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation, tools and equipment, food temperatures and safety procedures.
- Knowledge of safety, cleaning and sanitizing methods.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must obtain a Food Handlers Certificate as required by USDA
- USDA Professional Standards = 4 CEU's annually
